Delete your account
Last updated: 11 October 2026
You can delete your Quizzabit account, and the data that goes with it, at any time. Quizzabit is made by Alex Kotrotsios.
In the app
- Open Settings, and tap Delete account under Account.
- Type your username to confirm, and tap Delete my account.
Your account is deleted straight away.
Without the app
Email [email protected] from the address you signed up with, and tell us your username. We delete the account within a month, usually within a few days, and reply when it’s done. If you write from another address, we’ll first ask you to show that the account is yours.
If you have Premium
Deleting your account stops your Premium subscription renewing in Google Play. The time you’ve already paid for isn’t refunded. To stop it renewing without deleting your account, cancel it in the Play Store app → your profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
What’s deleted
- your account: your email address and sign-in, your username or nickname, and your avatar;
- your settings, friends, friend requests, blocks and game invites;
- your place in games (the games stay in other players’ history, without you), your XP, achievements and stats;
- your AI quiz credits, and the record of your subscription and purchases, including RevenueCat’s;
- the usage data you agreed to share;
- your phone’s token for notifications.
What’s kept, and for how long
- Reports: a report about a chat you were in stays for up to 12 months, with what was said but without your name, so it can still be dealt with.
- AI quizzes you made: a record without your account (when, how many questions and what it cost), for our spending totals. Its topic goes 180 days after the quiz.
- What our admins did about your account, such as a warning or a ban, without your username: up to 2 years.
- Sign-in records: our sign-in service’s record of each sign-in, with your email address and IP address, for up to 30 days, to look into accounts that may have been taken over.
- A ban: if your account was banned when it was deleted, a scrambled code made from your email address (never the address itself), until the ban would have ended and at most 2 years, so the ban also applies to a new account with that address.
- Backups of the database: up to 14 days.
- Payments: Google Play keeps its own records of what you paid, under its own terms.
Guest profiles have no email address. They’re deleted when you leave guest mode (Settings → Leave guest mode), or after 30 days without use.
The privacy policy explains the rest.
